American rapper and record producer Marshall Bruce Mathers III, better known by his stage name Eminem has once again bashed the Grammy Awards, calling the whole voting process fake.
In a recent interview, Eminem expressed his frustration, saying the awards aren’t based on merit but on favoritism.
This comes after the 67th Grammy Awards on February 2, 2025 at Crypto.com Arena in LA.
He said he’ll never attend the ceremony again, his answer will be a firm ‘NO’ even for the next 100 million years.
He said: “That vote is fake as fvck. It’s not a real vote. They give it to whoever they want to give it to. If I lose to Kanye or someone like that — okay, I respect that. I know who he is, he has a huge following. Kanye has made a big impact on music. But don’t bring us all here just to use us as a selling point for your show and then completely snub us every single fvcking time.”
Eminem didn’t mince words, he’s done with the Grammys for good.
“Don’t ever ask me to fvcking come here again. Please, don’t ask me. My answer is no – for 100 million years. Never again will I fvcking go to the Grammys.”
Eminem has been criticizing the Recording Academy for years, saying it’s biased.
This is just adds to his belief that the awards are not transparent and credible.
