Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara has said his refusal to share state resources to some individuals is the reason for the opposition to his administration.
Fubara made this known on Monday in Port Harcourt at the commissioning of Simplicity Movement (SM) headquarters, a political group.
Simplicity Movement is in all 23 local governments of Rivers State and was founded by Chief Sobomabo Jackrich who was the governorship candidate of National Rescue Movement (NRM) in 2023 state elections.
Evans Bipi, Ogu/Bolo Local Government Caretaker Committee Chairman who spoke on behalf of Fubara said the support of the people would not be in vain.
In his remarks, SM national leader, Chief Sobomabo Jackrich commended Governor Fubara as a wise leader. He said Fubara has developed the state in less than two years which he described as unprecedented in the state’s history.
