Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has ended her online feud with ccontroversial social media critic VeryDarkMan.
Ojo said in an Instagram post that she would not engage in online battle or hold an exchange of words but would rather embrace peace and positivity.
In the post, Ojo thanked her fans, friends, and colleagues for sticking by her with solid support, which in turn has been a pillar to her courage.
The actress confessed that while she remains a committed truth-teller and justice-seeker, she was henceforth not going to deal with negativity and trolls, but instead chart a more inspirational course in life.
Ojo claims that it was her family’s counsel that made her stop taking part in future online fights with VeryDarkMan.
She said, “Queen Mother: Unstoppable, unshakable, undefeatable! I’ll continue to lend my voice when necessary.”
She added, “Not even sounding a tad bit trillion trolls with lies, scheming, manipulation, gaslighting, and of course good old trolling can beat that out of me. To Obim, my wonderful children our families, friends, loved ones, colleagues, fans, well-wishers, and my management team. I have seen your advice and messages loud and clear. They have increased my confidence and strength in untold amounts.”
Ojo ended with an assurance of her commitment to the truth and positivism by saying, “I’m committed to speaking the truth despite adversity. Thank you for your love and support, both private and public. I’ll take your advice and overlook the negativity, but I’ll never stop speaking up when necessary. For now, it’s all about peace and love.”
