UNIBEN Students in Stable Condition After Building Collapse in Ekosodin
Three students rescued from a collapsed building in Ekosodin are stable at the hospital, the University of Benin has confirmed.
In a statement on Saturday, the university management said the students who were initially treated at the university health centre were later moved to University of Benin Teaching Hospital for further treatment.
The building located in the adjacent Ekosodin community where the students reside collapsed on Saturday after heavy rain that started on Friday afternoon.

The students were rescued by a combined team of university security, fire service, health personnel, students and police.
“Management wishes the students quick recovery and thanks the rescue team for the bravely efforts,” the school said in a statement.
