Mr Joseph Aloba, the father of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, known as Mohbad, has said he will take legal action against his daughter-in-law, Wunmi Aloba, if DNA result confirms that Liam, the child left by his late son is his biological grandson.
In a chat with Agbaletu TV, Mr Aloba spoke about his fears in his family.
He said he was not aware of the details of Mohbad’s death. He claimed he asked Wunmi when his son died and she was his son’s wife.
He said even if DNA confirms Liam’s paternity, he will still go ahead with the lawsuit.
He asked how she will expose a five (5) months old baby to environment where many people smoke weed. He recalled an instance where the child was taken to Ibadan which made him more worried.
Mr Aloba also recalled that his late son told him several times that his wife was unfaithful.
He said his son told him of an instance where Wunmi spiked his Indomie with drug so she could be with another man in the next room.
On the DNA test, Mr Aloba said he is ready and the next step is for Wunmi’s lawyer to reach out to his new lawyer to finalize the arrangement.
He debunked the rumour that his motivation is to claim his late son’s property and royalties, said his current concern is two things: what really killed Mohbad and is Liam his grandson.
He said once those two are resolved there will be no more discussion on properties.
