A Nigerian man has apologised to Nigerians after his wife was arrested for tearing up what many thought was his international passport at the Lagos airport. The drama was later revealed to be a skit. Gistreel reports that the couple had just returned from abroad when the wife tore a document many thought was her husband’s passport and was arrested by the authorities.
After the backlash, the husband went on social media to say the whole thing was a skit. He said the document his wife tore was not his real passport.
But the revelation that it was a skit has sparked more criticism online.
