Benjamin Hundeyin, Lagos Police Spokesperson has now joined the conversation about Lamborghini.
In the past week, talks have been going on since BBNaija star Mercy “Lambo” Eke got a Lamborghini. Socialite Sophia Egbueje also claims she got one, saying Burna Boy didn’t deliver on his promise to buy her a car.
As this celebrity drama unfolds, Hundeyin asked on X (formerly Twitter) where the money was coming from to buy a Lamborghini.
He wrote, “I want to buy Lamborghini. Abeg where una dey see this money?”
His straightforward question caused a lot of attention and conversations online.
Interestingly, his colleague SP Josephine Adeh jokingly said she can buy one for him.
This shows the growing interest in luxury cars in Nigeria where the appeal of high end cars is getting bigger and bigger.
Recent reports say the Nigerian luxury car market is growing, just like the country’s economy and consumer confidence. Figures are not available but industry experts say demand for such cars has been growing in recent years.
The conversation on social media is a reflection of the public curiosity about celebrity lifestyle. These conversations not only fuel online debates but also show the aspirational nature of luxury goods in modern Nigerian society.
